  • The buildings are derived from data from the topographic database (BD-TOPO-L) of the Cadastre and Topography Administration, based on 2013 aerial imagery. Data of type LOD 1 (Level of detail 1) represents simple blocks without details on roofs. The height of the blocks is defined by the average height of the outer perimeter of the roofs from photogrammetric measurements (i.e. the extraction of horizontal (X, Y) and vertical (Z) information based on aerial images) . The survey of these roof perimeters is part of the 2013 topographic survey for the updating of the topography database (BD-TOPO-L). The origin of these data restricts the resolution of units at building block level, smaller units such as annexes or remarkable building parts (e.g. church towers) are indistinguishable. The data is available as CityGML files, a standard format for exchanging 3D data. Buildings can be downloaded as ZIP files by municipality (+/- 10 MB / MB per file), by canton (+/- 40 MB / MB per file) or for the whole country (+/- 600 MB / MB). The data are projected in LUREF (EPSG: 2169), ie a coordinate reference system using values in meters [m]. Data not transformed into INSPIRE data model

  • This dataset includes data from non-telemetric air quality networks: - Dust fallout network - Fine dust collection network according to the filter reference method The view service of this dataset support time requests. The different wms shows value of measurements at a precise timestamp.

  • The hydromorphological status was determined by a monitoring compliant with the Water Framework Directive (Directive 2000/60/EU). The elaboration of a structural quality mapping is one part of this monitoring. Within the scope of the work on the structural quality mapping, a total of 31 parameters in the area of the river bed, the river bank and the floodplain are assessed so that the structural quality mapping contains detailed information on the river morphology and the river continuity. In this case, the evaluation of the mapped sections is based on five classes. The results of the evaluation were aggregated into an overall evaluation per mapped section.

  • The chemical status of the surface water bodies is assessed as being good or failing to achieve good chemical status. The assessment of the chemical status for the second river basin management plan is based on the list of substances of directive 2008/105/EC and the environmental quality standards established by the new directive 2013/39/EC.

  • The dataset represents the public bus transport network as coordinated by the Verkéiersverbond. The constantly updated data can be viewed on the geoportal (http://g-o.lu/3/jOPk). Bus lines are referenced on road data from the topographic database.

  • The dataset represents the tramway transport network as coordinated by the Verkéiersverbond. The constantly updated data can be viewed on the geoportal (http://g-o.lu/3/jOPk).

  • The geostatistical interpolation map shows in real time the most probable distribution of the pollutant nitrogen dioxid between the different fixed measurement points that make up the telemetric network of Luxembourg, this at a resolution of 1km2.

  • Measuring points of groundwater quality regarding the water framework directive.

  • Evaluation of the quality element “continuity” per surface water body
