Biotope cadastre of the open landscapes. Data transformed into INSPIRE data specifications on Protected Sites. The register of biotopes is a map of the zones of rare and threatened habitats protected by Article 17 of the amended Law of 19 January 2004 on the protection of nature and natural resources of which identification is difficult or ambiguous.

In the scope of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requiring countries and airports to provide electronic Terrain and Obstacle Data (eTOD), the Administration de la navigation aérienne has been tasked by the Government to take the steps necessary to comply with this requirement. This Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is the result of a first LIDAR survey flight that has been done in October 2017 and is of a higher resolution than required by ICAO, thus for general purpose, harmonized according to INSPIRE requirements. For this reason this DTM also uses the national reference systems LUREF and NGL. The data itself is split up in 4 different areas, which are specified as follows: Area 1: The entire territory of Luxembourg; Area 2: Terminal Control Area (this area is larger than the territory of Luxembourg); Area 3: Aerodrome movement area; Area 4: Category II or III operations (Runway 24).

This dataset was reported by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg under the Air Quality Directive. This dataset contains primary validated assessment data for all sampling points where measurement data is collected for the purpose of the assessment as indicated by Member States according to Article 9 for the pollutants listed in Parts B and C of Annex I.

The current water levels can be downloaded. Water levels are updated up to every 15 minutes. **The data is not validated. The data is issued by the Administration de la gestion de l’eau and the Service de la navigation (Moselle).** Important notice: The time is given in Western European Time **(UTC+1)** all year, the European Summer Time is not considered. You may have to adapt the time to your needs.

According to the water framework directive (Directive 2000/60/CE), the biological parameter fish are monitored in surface water bodies in order to determine the ecological status. Fish react sensitively to the continuity and the hydrological flow of surface water. Fish are therefor sampled in the SWB which have deficits here. The methodology applied for sampling is the standard NF EN 14962:2006 "water quality − guidance on the scope and selection of fish sampling methods".

This dataset contains the buildings in 3D on the national territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg except the city of Luxembourg. The 3D buildings were made based on the aerial shots of summer 2020 (flight period: end of July, beginning of August and mid-September 2020; flight height: +/- 3500 m above the ground) by photogrammetric rendering of the roofs (QME in x, y and z ≤ 20 cm), followed by downward extrusion and texturing of the resulting 3D models of the buildings with the oblique shots. Only the roofs of buildings with a footprint greater than 20 m2 were entered, taking into account superstructures (e.g. dog-sitting) whose longest side exceeds 50 cm and which have a volume greater than 1 m3. The 3D buildings correspond to the LOD (Level of Detail) 2.2 classification. This dataset has been harmonized according to the INSPIRE theme "Buildings" data specification.

The chemical status of the surface water bodies is assessed as being good or failing to achieve good chemical status. The assessment of the chemical status for the second river basin management plan is based on the list of substances of directive 2008/105/EC and the environmental quality standards established by the new directive 2013/39/EC. The assessment without the ubiquist substances permita to get a differentiated picture of the actual situation.

The "good ecological potential" is the environmental quality objective defined by the water framework directive for artificial and heavily modified surface water bodies. The ecological potential is assessed in four classes ranging from 1 to 4 (good and higher, moderate, poor, bad). The classification of the ecological potential is based on the biological, physico-chemical and in some cases also the hydromorphological quality elements.

The buildings are derived from data from the topographic database (BD-TOPO-L) of the Cadastre and Topography Administration, based on 2013 aerial imagery. Data of type LOD 1 (Level of detail 1) represents simple blocks without details on roofs. The height of the blocks is defined by the average height of the outer perimeter of the roofs from photogrammetric measurements (i.e. the extraction of horizontal (X, Y) and vertical (Z) information based on aerial images) . The survey of these roof perimeters is part of the 2013 topographic survey for the updating of the topography database (BD-TOPO-L). The origin of these data restricts the resolution of units at building block level, smaller units such as annexes or remarkable building parts (e.g. church towers) are indistinguishable. The data is available as CityGML files, a standard format for exchanging 3D data. Buildings can be downloaded as ZIP files by municipality (+/- 10 MB / MB per file), by canton (+/- 40 MB / MB per file) or for the whole country (+/- 600 MB / MB). The data are projected in LUREF (EPSG: 2169), ie a coordinate reference system using values in meters [m]. Data not transformed into INSPIRE data model

This dataset contains the water crossings of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg. The dataset is structured according to the INSPIRE Annex I Theme - Hydrography, section "man-made objects" The data is derived from the "AGE" - datasets.
